The Great Mayberry Fire Truck Rally and 100th Birthday Celebration for the 1917 American LaFrance Fire Truck, Mt. Airy's first fire engine, will be held on July 4th immediately following the 4th of July parade on Main Street which begins around 10am. Fire trucks from the city and various Volunteer Fire Departments will be lined up around the Museum plus Free hot dogs and birthday cake will be served in the Museum's Courtyard, while they last. Also re-opening today is the Museum's fire engine room exhibit.
