The Jesse Franklin Pioneers chapter of the Tar Heel Junior Historians returned from the
state convention victorious for the second year.
This year’s group finished in second place in middle school
division video contest despite the fact that only three of the 12 members were actually in middle school. The rest
were in elementary school students.
