Celebrate the roots of racing with the opening of the exhibition "White Liquor and Dirt Tracks: Biographies."  Scheduled activities include: Racer's Roundtable Discussions, Autograph Sessions, NASCAR Historian Daniel Pierce, NASCAR Hall of Fame Historian Buz McKim,  Tom VanNortwick - Auto Pin Striping and Graphics demonstrations, Vintage Race Car and Hot Rod Cruise-in and more!  $5 admission covers all events and exhibits.

The launch event for the new exhibit White Liquor and Dirt Tracks - Biographies will be held on Saturday January 28, 2012 from 10am until 5pm. Admission is just $5
Scheduled activities include:
10:00am
Vintage race car and hot rod cruise in starts; museum and exhibit opens to the public
10:30 - 12:30
Old-Timer's Panel Discussion and meet and greet, including Rex White, Don Johnson, Jerry Hatcher, Chris Fleming from Madhouse, 2012 NASCAR Hall of Fame inductee Dale Inman and other participants TBA
1:00pm
Program on Moonshining in Western North Carolina presented by Dr. Dan Pierce, UNCA
Concurrent autograph sessions with panelists
2:00pm
Virginia Tech professor Brian Katen program on early racing and tracks in Southwest Virginia
3:00pm
NASCAR Hall of Fame Historian Buzz McKim program on the roots of NASCAR

Pin Striping Demonstrations
Book Signing with Margaret Sue Turner Wright, daughter of Curtis Turner
Preregistered racers and display car owners, plus one guest each, will receive free admission to the event.
